|| After so long.. ||
Yes, finally an entry. I know i've been stagnant/not updating/entry-less/idle/*add in your own words to describe no entries* for a long time now. Don't ask why. I was just lazy to update, okay? And furthermore it's not like there's that many interesting events in my life to blog about.Recently Choir has just been so much of fun; every week I look forward to the practice sessions with them. Everytime I sing along with all of them choirmates, I can just forget about all the workload and stuff I have to do. Really, a great way to de-stress for me. =D
Synergy was over about a month ago, but that day's worth of performance is still clear in my mind. Everyone singing their best, the choir sounding great, each and everyone of our desires to perform our very best. Damn, can't help but miss the days we had for practises and all..
And then there was collage day, where Choir was the only group performing. Although we only sang just a couple of songs, those 2 songs that we sang were the ones we used to show the other schools(their principals, actually.) how good NYChoir is. And I'm pretty sure we did well. =) That day was sort of the 'last' performance the J2s had in school.. Wonder how it'd be like without singing. =(
Now that the J2s have stepped down and passed on the baton to the J1s, the name of NYChoir is in their hands. Quite a responsiblity there, but I believe in them! The day when we announced the future Exco and Music co was both a sad and joyous one.. Seeing the J1s being in charge, but knowing that the J2s are 'leaving'. I'll definitely miss choir and singing..
